We cannot grow as individuals or in the business world without hearing our fair share of criticism. This does not mean that we do not have enough going for us. Quite the latter. It means that we are worth other people’s thoughts, input and attention. Similarly to a professor giving you a letter grade the rest of the class, it may often be because that professor sees more potential in us that we see in ourselves.
- Take steps out of your comfort zone: it is easy to get too comfortable when we have a good routine established for a good work and personal arrangement in place. This is exactly what we need to take the time to step outside of our comfort zone and grow as people. It may always be difficult for some of us to want new things and pursue new experiences. However, it is crucial for growth and success.
- Remain stable, still and content: it is important to maintain a sense of calm within our own skin. Do not let stress, irritation, obligations or challenges change our inner sense of peace. A sense of contentment with our circumstance and ourselves is something that we always must find no matter what is going on in our life. Remain calm, stay still and maintain internal stability in the face of fluctuation.
